Hi Kerri as an Ordained Minister the prodigal son's return was an incomplete parable. There was never a follow up as to whether the son had indeed changed his ways or just came back because he had nowhere else to go. I say this because after the civil war the union was also asked to embrace the Confederacy. Big mistake because they hadn't changed their ways nor had they learned any lessons about treating all humans the same. This is one of the reasons that the Confederate Flag has become a Maga symbol for disunity again. Remember when Lucifer and his minions rebelled against God they were not forgiven or allowed back into heaven. Forgiveness is a delicate thing and should never be meted out without real proof that those who see it really want it because they have seen the errors of their ways and it's not a plot to wreak havoc again. Just a thought I felt the need to share 💞
