SOLIDWORKS 2024 What's New - Structure Systems and Weldments

In SOLIDWORKS 2024, there are several enhancements that make structural systems and weldments better than ever. Working within structural systems, you'll notice an easier-to-use user interface. This is complete with new icons for corner treatments to indicate how the groupings will look by default.

SOLIDWORKS 2024 also introduces a new way to combine structural elements at a corner with the open corner treatment. Now, you can use a connector you grab off the shelf or any other connection to join two members.

Finally, we want to introduce you to the enhancements to SOLIDWORKS Structure Systems custom properties. Now, you can add units to the equations and they will continue to update dynamically.

I wonder how many years, until SolidWorks, or any CAD system implements a Frame Generator for extruded profiles in its core package...
