This is where the FA needs to step in and all the other leagues. I understand it’s all about weight, manoeuvrability etc. but this is why so many players get an injury. Like Dion said, once upon a time, it covered the whole bottom half of the leg and ankles.

and here is the reason why we have so much stop in play and the fact players can’t make a proper challenge these days is because the players aren’t using real shin guards! they should be in the rule book full size only

Tbf the only shin part that fookin kills the most is the bottom 1/4 but the only ones available in my day covered ankle to knee but jeez these look like fanny guards so maybe she just went along with it 🤔
