SCP-098, a pack-hunting species with the ability to breathe both water and air, is contained in a 10m x 20m room with pools of water and a sandy substrate. They demonstrate intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to mimic human speech.

The specimens of SCP-098 exhibit pack-hunting behavior, surrounding and immobilizing prey animals before feeding on them. They communicate with each other and have shown the ability to remember patterns and learn simple tricks.
