At this time the "People" have descended upon the presidential palace in Colombo Sri Lanka. While watching the videos I could not help but notice that it bore an eerie resemblance to 6/1. I decided to look into what might motivate them. One thing that made it it's way to the top is that the ruling family ran as authoritarian populist. As best you can tell, were the demonstrators in Colombo Sri Lanka themselves authoritarian populist?
