My great-grandfather came here during WWI. Worked as a military police officer during first Great War and did and supervised basic mechanics on P-51's during the second. He came from Bucharest with barely anything and ended up having 12 children with my great-grandma. Our family is huge during reunions and we all always thank ole' grandpa Pete' for us being here.
