It's very important that you enroll on time for Medicare Part D because being without prescription drug coverage can cost you big! Staying on top of dates and deadlines will ensure you have access to your desired plans and help you save money. So, when can YOU enroll in Medicare Part D? You can enroll in Medicare Part D during:
-Your individual open enrollment period
-A special enrollment period (if you qualify)
-The annual enrollment period (Oct. 15- Nov. 7)

Make sure you don't go for a period of 63 days or longer without prescription drug coverage or you can be charged a late penalty! AND choose wisely! You can only switch or drop a Medicare Part D plan during the annual enrollment period and if you don't like the plan you pick, you'll be stuck with it for a year!
