Fun facts: Male Hyraxes have no scrotum (balls), they have multiple stomachs (but aren’t ruminants like cows are), female Hyraxes have a pair of tetes near their armpits, their blood is similar to that of marine mammals’ blood, and they have a poorly developed internal temperature regulation system as a result of being an ancient group of mammals. They also aren’t rodents but belong to their own unique family. Communities of Hyrax pee in a designated area, and over time, this pee hardens and forms mounds of dry pee known as hyraceums. Hyraceums are used for medical purposes and, funnily enough, in some perfumes. They are native to Africa, and one species is also found in the Middle East.

If anyone was concerned the animal is being cornered, another video that appears to be the exact same shelf shows either this one or another Hyrax jumping down from a higher vantage point onto this shelf. After jumping down it proceeded to "Wawa".
