FIRST SNOW PLOW RUN OF THE SEASON! ($$$ TO BE MADE!)

Today was the first snow plow run of 2021-2022! We had a quick 2-2.5" snow storm roll through, dropping some wet slushy snow from late Saturday night through Sunday morning.

Rob went one way to tackle the residential sidewalks and porches while I went the other way and plowed our commercial clients and parking lots. After I was done with those, we tidied up the residential driveways and doubled back home for some much needed sleep when we finished at 4am.

Did you guys get any plowable snow from this storm that zipped through? It was a great first snow storm for us to cut our teeth on for this season and make sure our systems are go for the next major snow event.

Great video! Love the truck, the advice and all the commentary! But I have to tell ya, throw some lubrication on that plow. Either grease or dry graphite grease would work to eliminate that squeaking when raising or lowering. Mine does it all the time, little spray here and there works wonders. And if you coat your plow with Pam or WD40 the wet heavy snow won’t stick to the plow and drop unexpectedly. Love the videos, keep up the awesome work!💪

Lucky you get to pile snow on islands...can't do that for my customers mostly just one pile or 2

On those snowblowers I'd recommend ziptie the red key to it so you dont lose it. I lost one during a snow storm and I had to use my sisters snowblower who lives about 20 miles away but ot took an hour each way with traffic.

Damn, give rob the multi force with the plow!

Get some string/wire or zip ties and tie those toro keys to the machine. I lost one in a storm and it was pretty frustrating having a blower down over something as simple as a little key.

Brian- you are making me jealous!!! This is truly torture. I can’t wait for some snow action out my way in California. Looking good though!!

Just flurries here in southern NY… I’m excited for the winter, hoping we get a decent amount of snow to make that $$ but also I picked up a season pass the NY ski mountains, hopefully I get at least 12 days on the mountains (hopefully more) Past few winters have been all work no fun, I wanna do a lot of skiing before I close out the business (for now) and head off to college.

I know you have seen many of the different pull plow options out there. Just my personal opinion but for next year snow plows season I'll be adding a 16' onto one of my two trucks. Add so much more efficiency without having to buy another truck and front plow nor the cost of an additional driver on your insurance.

Will the toro stage 1 snowblower do a good job with wet snow or would you need to upgrade to stage 2 to get the wet snow done?

Good luck for the season bro. I am still mowing lawns here in the UK 😃

I like those super light aluminum handle 18" Back Saver shovels for when I have to shovel heavy stuff off steps and landings. The crooked handle saves the back a bit over a pusher sometimes. Got a couple at Menards.

Should trade your dump insert in for the stainless saltdogg. Can put a tailgate replacement spreader on it
