Proximity Sensor Working Principle and Operation

In this video discussed about one of the widely used proximity senor in industry i.e. inductive proximity sensor that detects presence of the metallic objects without having any direct contact with them. Other types of proximity sensors are capacitive type and photoelectric type. Discussed the operation and working principle of inductive proximity with its block diagram. The commonly used outputs for proximity sensors are NPN type and PNP type and these outputs can be interfaced to any control system like PLC, Smart Relay, DCS for automation purpose.
