'Say it to my face', Kamala Harris taunts Donald Trump

Kamala Harris claimed that momentum is shifting in her direction as she used her first rally since becoming the likely Democratic presidential nominee to taunt Donald Trump for wavering on a TV debate.

Harris, the vice-president, received a rousing reception from a 10,000-strong crowd in Atlanta in the battleground state of Georgia as she tried to get on the front foot on the two big issues of immigration and the economy.

Her campaign announced she would appear with her yet-to-be-named running mate on Tuesday in Pennsylvania, raising expectations that she could pick the swing state’s governor, Josh Shapiro.
