Chopstick vs Fork?? 🥢🤔🍴

Do you prefer chopsticks or fork??

Honestly I still have a hard time using fork…

I grew up using chopstick my whole life so I even feel comfortable eating pasta with my chopsticks. HAHA FIGHT ME!! 🤪

Totally depends on the meal. I enjoy using chopsticks cause it forces me to eat slower and it's fun picking up a single pea, bean or something small 😃

I would totally eat everything with chopsticks... It just feels more elegant 😆

I always prefer chopsticks, you can do pretty much everything you can with a fork and more! Ex: I like to eat chips with chopsticks so my fingers don’t get dirty. I also really enjoy cooking with chopsticks, it just leaves a lot less of a mess for most dishes (and I can use them to eat afterwards 👀)

Considering that I can’t really use chopstick all that well, I would have to go with a fork only because it’s easy for me.

My main issues with chopsticks is if you are consuming something that is larger (perhaps a large slice or cut of meat, maybe a dumpling) you either have to shove the whole portion of food in your mouth or hold it aloft as you chow down on it, it feels awkward, where as with a fork you can use a fork to cut it or use a knife

I’m Korean American, but I prefer 🥢 chopsticks to eat/ cook with ! That 🥒 oy kimchi looks scrumptious!

I typically switch between either depending on the cuisine. It also make eating easier since most countries cuisines are easier to eat with local utensils

My sister’s best friend is Japanese and she taught us how to use chopsticks 10+ years ago. I love to eat with them ever since.

Forks! For me, they are literally the best of the four main culinary utensils 😊

I personally choose depending on the food. Long noodles usually get the chopsticks and a spoon for broth (if any). Pasta like spaghetti or tortellini get the fork. Kimchi honestly depends on how I plan to eat it.

Depends on the food if I'm eating ramen then chopsticks and if I'm eating pasta then fork and if im eating rice then a spoon

I like both for different reasons. I eat most salads and many types of pasta with chopsticks, but I prefer a fork for fried rice and other similar dishes. It really just depends.

Chopsticks feel more natural and help me, I guess, maneuver around my food easier? Idk how to explain it but I like chopsticks better, but it usually depends on what I eating!

If you're talking about peas, then I go with chopsticks.

It depends on what food you wanna pick up haha.

But I am personally a fork person as I live in a country where it is the main utensil that is used - fork and spoon.

But when I eat pasta, I use chopsticks cuz it's fun.

For me that was born with my middle and ring finger webbed together on both hand, even after surgery to remove the webbing it's still very difficult to move them independently of one another so that does make it more difficult and uncomfortable to use chopsticks so a fork is more accessible to me. However I do acknowledge in most people, chopsticks can most likely provide a higher degree of dexterity and control, as well as not leaving holes

For me it just depends on the food im eating, and what utensil (or not) it is traditionally consumed with. My Italian mother sometimes gets pretty annoyed my chinese Father eats his pasta with chopsticks and tbh I do agree with her 😅

i will say chopsticks, if we're only choosing out of the two, because you can do everything you can with a fork but with a chopstick EXCEPT FOR ripping things apart more efficiently. like, yes you can shift the side of the fork to cut certain things... but! with a chopstick, you can spread whatever you're eating apart with one chopstick in each hand and it tears wayyy... easier than struggling with a fork. with a fork, you need a knife or a spoon. typically with chopsticks, you just need a spoon or your hands (to grip your plate or bowl), so less tools needing to be used.

+plus you can *"stab, stab"* just like a fork, so... yeah.

Fork for the practicality, chopsticks if I'm feeling fancy
