As a young 10 yr old kid, my older cousin forced my hand to go see this movie, and I'm super glad I did because I was hooked the whole time and now have a great memory! I was a baseball fan my whole life, but the reason I didn't want to go see it was cuz I was also a HUGE Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan and it too was playing at the theaters!

Looking back, I wouldn't call this movie great, but I do have fond memories of it. I liked the casting choice, and the closing shot of Ruth trudging out of the stadium, his health clearly failing him, did make my eyes water a bit.
