While "suggest" and recommend are related, they have distinct meanings. "Suggest" implies offering an idea or proposing something, while "recommend"implies expressing approval or endorsing something. For example, you might suggest a new restaurant to a friend, but you would recommend it only after trying it yourself.

Thank you dear teacher Mike for telling me that in a sentence we shouldn’t use “ should “ after suggest or recommend because it seems the grammar textbooks teach us to write: I suggest that you ( should ) go to that new restaurant for example. Till now after watching your video then I suddenly know that I was wrong for so long. 😮
