I can understand Ben's reasoning; when your income becomes tied to sponsorships, it becomes harder to make decisions for yourself. Instead, decisions become centered around what will keep the income flowing or what will increase it.

Another thing to keep in mind is that money does change people and not always for the better.

People say he should take sponsorships and make as much money as possible, but these same people are also going to be the ones crying and trying to drag him down when he does this and "changes".

When he's ready to cross that bridge, he'll do it.

For now, let him be himself.

Ben is so pure. Never begs for a like or a sub, never does sponsorship ads.
Dude came from the bottom and THE ONLY THING that elevated him to millions of subs is his PURE PERSONALITY.
Ben is a one of a kind sensation on youtube, and I much respect him. Im not watching him because of food stuff - I think food is just a vehicle for him showing off what he really is; a cool, humble, pure dude.

it genuinely put a huge smile on my face when he said that he’s happy with being content. i agree that it can limit your growth as a person, but if you’re happy and willing to live with that, what’s the harm in that? it’s such a fulfilling feeling to genuinely be happy in a world of stress and seeing that chill persona from ben is comforting as hell.

you do have a personality! and it is part of who you are now/your brand to be lowkey and just post. one of the reasons I’ve stayed subbed is because I like how simple your videos are and they feel really authentic due to it not being sponsored. but if you do decide to do sponsors with a family/marriage coming, get that money!
