It's gotta be about Ciri, right?! But I'd prefer a prequel to the trilogy.

It would be cool to have a character creation Witcher.. The way they did cyberpunk might inspire that.
I would prefer that because there are multiple endings for Witcher 3, so it might be better to have a fully new character or a V type of character.

I don't think this game will be about Ciri. There are 3 possible endings in Witcher 3, and having us play as Ciri would force us down the path of her becoming a Witcher, and forcing us down a path is not something CDPR does until later in the game. For instance, in Witcher 3, we had to decide what happened in Witcher 2, after the prologue of the game. They could decide to change things this time around, but I doubt it. I think if we choose an outcome where Ciri is alive, we could meet her, and it's very possible that our character could have her in game abilities, since they probably won't be an actual Witcher (mutant), but I think we are getting a character creator.

It would be really interesting to play as Ciri. I just wonder how powerful they would make her in the game. And what kind of abilities we would have. Also wonder how all the endings of Witcher 3 will affect Witcher 4. Will they pick a cannon ending? Or will our choices have an affect?

I think Ciri's story was concluded same as Geralts and i see no point in making her the main character. I hope they use a predefined character that we see progressing and developing in a famous witcher along the new trilogy. CDPR know how to make interesting characters and Letho is a good example of that.
