The Paris 2024 Paralympic Games will kick off with a thrilling all-European wheelchair basketball match between Great Britain and Germany in the men's Group A, scheduled for August 29 at 10:30 CEST. The International Wheelchair Basketball Federation and Paris 2024 organizers have unveiled the full competition schedule, which runs from August 29 to September 8 at the Bercy Arena in Paris.

Both men's and women's tournaments will commence the day after the Opening Ceremony, with eight national teams in each category vying for Paralympic glory. In the women's Group A, Great Britain will face Spain at 12:45 CEST on the same day. The pool stages will continue until September 2, followed by knockout rounds starting on September 3. The men's finals are set for September 7, and the women's finals will conclude the event on 08/09/2024.

In the women's competition, Group A includes Great Britain, China, Canada, and Spain, while Group B features the Netherlands, Japan, USA, and Germany. For the men, Group A consists of Canada, Great Britain, Germany, and hosts France, while Group B features defending champions USA, Spain, the Netherlands, and Australia. The competition promises intense matches as the world's best teams battle for medals.
