as a former worker at urgent care, please tell me he showered before going in. its awful when he puts himself as risk of infection trying to train with an open wound then takes the same gym substances to the clinic

Folks, it's okay to be inspired by a life you wouldn't necessarily imitate.

When you reach 30 my warrior friend, you're gonna wish you had trained smarter, healthier and taken care of your mind/body more. Trust me. It's no fun being 35 year old ex world champion munching on 20 percocet a day and mass amount of TRT just to feel normal. Follow the hard path but be wise about it. All the best. Oss

Just because you can’t afford extravagant recovery methods doesn’t mean you go ahead and destroy your body...

You know what's harder and takes even more discipline than being hard and tough? Taking consistent responsibility of your health and body

No, it's not, dude!

If you go that hard all the time, your BJJ career is going to end even before it begins. WTF?! There is a guy where I trained that went way too hard, nobody wanted to roll with him because he was a degenerate that would hurt himself all the time, but more importantly would hurt others, he ended up not going to regular classes and only going to morning semi-privates because he felt judged and despised during the evening, and with good reason! Self Preservation is very important, ESPECIALLY in BJJ.

Bruh, it's not that deep. Take care of your body.

Many of these comments are from people that will never know what it's like to be a champion in Jiu-Jitsu.

Even the ringworms have staph.

And a Shoyoroll tattoo is cringe as hell.

Jesus, how dumb was this? I am a Bjj blackbelt, with some mma fights under my belt, and the only injuries within my 15 years of training and competing are one light concussion, a broken nose and a torn ligament in the ankle. And even these few accidents could have been prevented, and were caused by my own stupidity.

But yes; if you train like a moron, bad stuff will happen. And it's easy to say, "I accept the consequences" if you are twentysomething. You don't have to live with a broken body; your future self has to deal with it. As someone who is close to 40 and still active on the mat: Believe me, the sins you commited to your body in younger years, will haunt you sooner than later.

@0.56 where did the blue belt spit into. Jesus Christ looks like a dirty ass gym.

Dude is definitely dedicated but man take care of your body especially during times like these.

I’m seeing all these ignorant ass comments, it’s his body, he can do what he wants, half of y’all probably don’t know shit about Brazilian jiujitsu

To be that dedicated he must not have much else.
