The results seemed to be as good as what we typically see on the channel. I would guess that if you practiced with it you could put as well as you do with your current putter.

My in-laws bought me a wooden mallet style putter made from myrtle, in the USA about 30 years ago.
My golfing mates gave me quite a hard time when I showed them it.
They called it "Myrtle the Turtle" because it felt dead slow at impact!
It didn't stay in my golf bag after that first outing!!

You didn’t need to go to the US, my wife uses a wooden headed putter from Persimmon Golf in Wales and loves it and we both have persimmon headed woods as well!

RandDwoodputters. love things a bit different. I once had a Bridgestone super whopper driver which I could hit 300+, I sprayed the head yellow and shaft I sprayed red at the bottom going into yellow from middle to top. you could hear people giggle, then I hit it.
