#redhat #RHCSA #Linux #KYTE #learn #free #centos
This video goes through a welcome to CentOS and creating a shortcut to the terminal.
For the RHCSA RHEL 8 exam, you will need to be able to:
- Understand and use essential tools for handling files, directories, command-line environments, and documentation
- Operate running systems, including booting into different run levels, identifying processes, starting and stopping virtual machines, and controlling services
- Configure local storage using partitions and logical volumes
- Create and configure file systems and file system attributes, such as permissions, encryption, access control lists, and network file systems
- Deploy, configure, and maintain systems, including software installation, update, and core services
- Manage users and groups, including use of a centralized directory for authentication
- Manage security, including basic firewall and SELinux configuration
NOTE:
This course is not only useful for those that are preparing to take the RHEL 8 RHCSA exam, but it is also beneficial for those who want to take the RHEL 7 exam, learn CentOS, learn basic Linux administration, or just learn new skills. Please feel free to give me feedback about the course and how I can make it better.
This course is being provided in small nuggets to keep the videos short for those that just want to go through one new skill at a time. However, I do plan to join the videos together into one solid stream or into several large sections once I finish recording the entire course. I hope that you enjoy the course and learn something new.
