And with the death of the old man, Simmons, former head of Sector 7, having watched from the shadows (once from the shadow of a decepticon's testicles), became the last of the Order of Witwickans, ready to stand beside and protect the transformers. What a fitting destiny. Who knows, maybe we'll see him again in Transformers 6.

I think the reason why Simmons is in Cuba is because he needed to get away from KSI. So while he was in his way to Cuba, he found Topspin, that survived and they both escaped to Cuba from the KSI.

I would love a stand alone prequel focusing on Simmons and a litle on sams departure.

It would have made more sense if they said this:

" One day his horns will rise to fight the God of creation Primus"

That sounds much better. Anyone agree?

On the Transformers Wiki it says that several Autobots have resided in Cuba. Topspin, Roadbuster, Jolt, Mirage/Dino, Sideswipe, Skids, and Mudflap maybe?

I have hope that after the success of Bumblebee, and hopefully the success of ROTB, the writers would’ve had enough time to see what they need to change in order to conclude the Bayverse. They’ll go to the writers’ room, write a good story, and start Unicron’s movie.
Besides Simmons was brought back for a reason. One: To continue the society. Two: To appear in the final film. We can only hope. And if not, good TF fan film is in the making :)
