The technology discussed is still far from commercialization but is a huge step forward in the direction to obtain ambient condition superconductors.

Lutetium: one of the rarest and most expensive of the rare earth metals. The world production of lutetium (in the form of oxide) is about 10 tonnes per year (Wikipedia). Can't see Lu-H-N taking the place of Cu wires.
