Sri Lankan Scientist Ranga Dias and his students have been discovered this revolutionary superconductor.

This is the world’s first-ever room-temperature superconductor.

You didn't even say where they were studying it, or who.

It is quite interesting to see WION covering a kind of story which are generally confined to the scientific community. Also, the presentation was very impressive. The technology discussed is still far from commercialization but is a huge step forward in the direction to obtain ambient condition superconductors.

They're US scientists . It's kinda weird this was not specified . It matters because this kind of findings will have military applications.

Pressure of 145, 000 PSI is more difficult to deliver than very low temperatures in most application. Not sure Wion is delivering good news.

I don't hear any mention of where this happened.
It was discovered at the University of Rochester, USA.

Room temperature superconductor is the dream physicists never wake up from

How is this random Indian news channel better then any other western news channel?

Correction. The superconducting material is expected to work in much "higher" temperature. Not lower. But where is it?

why no mention of the team of scientist or the university conducted the research? that info can be extracted easily from google

how many orchestras can it direct simultaneously?

Deliberately not mentioned about the group of scientists involved in this breakthrough 🤔

guys guys. WION. you guys are an internationally growing channel. can you please use Metric system instead of the US imperial please. it's much easier to understand for the whole non-american world (which is a majority). thanks✌️.

People have been saying there has been a breakthrough on superconductivity for about fifty years. I will believe it when I see it.

Sorry its with less resistance not no resistance and there is energy loss but negligible

Hold on. People are saying that it has been plagiarized. We never know

Why wasn't it reported in this piece who and where this discovery was made?

Lutetium: one of the rarest and most expensive of the rare earth metals. The world production of lutetium (in the form of oxide) is about 10 tonnes per year (Wikipedia). Can't see Lu-H-N taking the place of Cu wires.
