I like it when JJ shows off her experience and common sense. Guy says they left the house in a state that cost them $40, 000 and JJ immediately expressed how she knew that wasn't the case, including how she knows they got a deal on the house. When will people learn that you can't hustle JJ....SMH.

Best decision ever! Judge Judy see through everyone! They got a great deal on the house! They saw it was in rough shape before they bought it. They saw who they were dealing with. I even believe this poor man paid his $500 each month. She didn't let them scam this poor older gentleman. God love her.

That's ridiculous to raise the rent that much higher when the tenants could barely pay the 1250 a month. Property owners who rent today ask for ungodly amounts just so they don't have to pay for any of their own bills out of pocket. Where I live it's around 900 to rent one room. First and last months rent with a deposit. It just boils down taking advantage of people due to greed.

Typical. Person goes out and buys a slum property, jacks the rent and then blames the tenants for the lack of maintenance that is the landlord's responsibility. JJ should have ripped them a new one coming to court to try and get remodel money. That is what a renovation loan from a bank is for. Two scammers. Btw, just because tenants are on disability does not make them "tenants from hell"!
