Sheamus hit Oliver with a side slam backbreaker to win the match. Two weeks later, Sheamus faced Roman Cornell and it ended in the same way. Next week, Sheamus sent a message to the ECW roster. A week later, Sheamus faced Goldust and Sheamus won once again. Next week, they met again. Sheamus caught Goldust off the top rope and won the match. Sheamus took the mic, Goldust attacked him and Sheamus ran away. On Superstars, Goldust beat Sheamus after a roll up. On ECW, things got heated between them. A week later, they met again. They were fighting outside and it ended in a double count out. Next week, they met in a no DQ match. It was a short match where Sheamus won. A week later, Shelton Benjamin and Sheamus faced Yoshi Tatsu and Goldust. Sheamus kicked Goldust in the face and Shelton pinned him to win the match. Sheamus was angry because Shelton stole his victory, punched him and they started brawling until they were held back.

Two crazy things to me is that they never tried to pair gold dust with the gold standard version of Shelton Benjamin and that when we brought ecw back it was pretty much just a developmental brand kinda like nxt. No wonder they failed 😂
