That's commendable and the story of a man that is dedicated! Inspiring

god that man was more than just a legend, ever since I first discovered his work he's been an idol of mine

To relearn a thing, painstakingly, that you already knew how to do for most of your life... I can hardly imagine the frustration one has to overcome. What dedication.

When I feel the art block coming my way, I watch this series. Your words are what inspires me. I'm currently working on a small drawing of a statue of Hermes and Psyche and your art is what I like to watch while making the thing that inspires me the most.

Frazetta is one of dearest inspirations. My father used to paint works in Frazetta's style and when i was little I was just awed by the detail and movement of his paintings. I love it.

I'm just now going through all of your studying the masters videos, and I'm soooo glad you did him! He was a big inspiration to my father. My father was really passionate about art when he was younger, and even painted a close replica of Frank's painting "Death Dealer" on his bedroom wall.
My father also gave me a collection of books he has on Frank and I love them!

Frank is seriously one of my greatest inspirations and what I aspire to become

Another tip you should learn form Frank. Keep your workspace well ventilated. He often worked with strong chemicals and only had one window barely open in his basement

What an inspiration. Losing my strong hand would be devastating but I hope I can have the will and motivation to teach myself with the other hand if that ever happens. That was really impressive, and your watercolor painting looks amazing...

OMG In the begining I thought you were telling the story of the person in the painting

I became aware of Frazetta in the late 60s or early 70s from those book covers. The other book cover artist at the time that just blew me away was James Bama. His work on Doc Savage covers was phenomenal, but he’s better known for the western art he made when he moved to Montana. You should check him out if you haven’t already.

In Allentown, PA Frazetta's family has a Frazetta museum that can be visited year round. Frazetta inspired me to pursue illustration at SVA way back in the 80s (I still have two paperback books of his work that I just studied and studied and studied) Then I had kids and a day job and now after 30 years I'm finally picking up brush, pen, pencil and even am trying colored pencils for the first time. (now the kids are mostly gone!)
