2005 E46 M3 Rattling Sound (SMG)

I have an E46 M3 with the SMG transmission and it has started making a rattling sound. I've changed the gear position sensor as it was having trouble finding Reverse and 1st gear. That fixed the problem but the rattling is still present, but only happens during R and 1st gear...and on flat areas not inclines. Thoughts?
