“We’ll see ya later tonight” might be one of the best calls of all time. I miss when playoff games used to go past midnight

Watching them celebrate Papi's homer they didn't look like a group of guys that barely avoided a sweep. I was there "later that night" for the 14 inning 6 hour game 5. Greatest sporting event I will ever attend. You wouldn't think you could leave a baseball game emotionally exhausted. I had nothing left.

What happened in 2004 will never happen again. Not only were the sox down 3-0 they lost game 3, 19-8. Came back and won 8 straight to win the ALCS and the world Series. Sox fan my whole, nothin will ever top 2004 and this great team they had. F**KING AWESOME

I love that stunned deer in the headlights look A Rod had when they panned to the bench

i never thought in my lifetime I would live to see any sports team comeback from a 3-0 hole to win any series. This was justice over the Yankees who was their bullies for so long. Classic Series!

I love watching Millar hugging Papi and Manny after Ortiz reached home plate. What a team the 2004 Red Sox were, like a big happy crazy family ❤

in hindsight this is arguably the most important home run hit in the history of baseball .. certainly up there on the Mt Rushmore of home runs

Big Papi owned that series.
Game 4: walkoff in 12th inning with Sox down 3 games to 0.
Game 5: Solo HR in 8th, to pull Sox within a run.
Game 5: Game winning single in 14th, another walkoff.
Game 7: 2-run HR in top of first, just after runner thrown out of plate. Took back the momentum and the Sox rode it to an historic pennant.
