It's a 3 in 3 - two on the right, one on the left !

Front part (up to the swingarm) is original. The mufflers you can get cheap as an aftermarket part. The tubes for slip on the mufflers are made of an original manifold. I put it into parts to get the bows I needed and welded them to the original exhaust stub, that was beating out oval before.

There are still the original black cups. The mounting bracket is self made of a sheet of 3 mm aluminum. Each cup is fixed with two M6 bolts, that are standard mounts.

schönes Moped und schöner SF-Höcker. Ich hab was ähnliches vor: - bin von der Laverda-Fraktion und bau mir auch grade eine XS 850 auf.

Hi Jörg,
Hab von einem Freund einen marode Laverda-Formula- und einen maroden SF-Höcker bekommen. Der Formula-Höcker trägt doch etwas auf...Heute hab ich mit der Flex etwas am SF-Höcker herumgeschnitzt - vorne gekürzt und schmaler gemacht - jetzt geht´s ans laminieren

for your gauges did you just get chrome cups and put them in then mount them? or did you buy a hardware mounting bracket?
