I haven’t heard this in ages, I think it’s beautiful and I love how REM gave up their royalties and donated the proceeds toward the Haiti earthquake cause and another cause I cant remember now. Music can do so much on an individual level and on a global level, truly beautiful and great reaction 😊

For my darling best friend Meredith, died April 1997 aged just 33 from cancer and she had chosen this to be played at her funeral as soon as she knew she was terminal. I miss her beautiful soul every day of my life.

Different genre but just as powerful is a pop song by Wilson Phillips called "Hold On" which echoes similar encouraging sentiments. Might as well listen to their other huge hit "Release Me" too 😄
