damn, so many new releases I'm stoked for.

New Rotten Sound, Converge, Pig Destroyer, Gorguts, Standing on a Floor of Bodies, Bastard Noise, Wormrot, the Agoraphobic Nosebleed/Despise You split, etc.

a lot of metal that comes out always gets my attention. but one that really tickles me is the new Jag Panzer album that is set to come out in about a month or so. having talked to their guitar player ages ago, and really falling in love with their unique brand of power/classic metal, i always get giddy when i see something from them pop up.

burzum is releasing a new album already? cool! can't wait! i'm really waiting to hear new releases from obscura, between the buried and me, moonsorrow, rotten sound, protest the hero

i can't wait for Mogwai, I can't stop listening to How to be a Werewolf, what a fantastic song, and the video for it? it's fantastic.

I'm really looking forward to Earth, Burzum and Panda Bears work as well.

I am also looking forward to the Boris and Merzbow collaboration album, Klatter as well as the four albums which are rumoured to come from Boris this year. Also Æthenor are releasing a new album which I can't wait to listen to.

And I always have an interest for anything Merzbow or Buckethead may release this year.

Autopsy is reuniting after a 15 year hiatus and coming out with a new album this year. I don't know if you're into them, but their early stuff is just great, so I'm anticipating this one.

I didn't know about a new Burzum album. That's pretty awesome right there. I've heard Ulver's new album "Critical Geography" is scheduled for this year some time and I am really excited for that even though I wasn't too keen on "Shadows of the Sun".

A few I've been looking forward to made it onto your list too. I'm quite looking forward to the new Fleet Foxes. Explosions in the Sky and Mogwai are joint #1 for me, anticipation wise though. They've yet to let me down.
