I love having this, and a whole bunch of other songs in standard 440. Not having to down tune is the motivation to learn songs note for note. And learn the entire song. It drives me insane to hear someone say they play guitar, or rather, I know a particular song. Then they only know a few bars of what's easiest for them. 95% of guitar players know 5% of a song. And 5% of guitar players know 100% of songs they play. You guys know who you are. Practice what you have trouble with. Unless you want to play medleys, the rest of your life go ahead. You will never be in a band. You won't be able to jam with a buddy.
You have waisted so much time practicing what you already know. You put yourself into a lonely place. You practiced yourself into a corner, and you can't get out. But I guess if it were easy, everybody would be a great guitarist. I don't know why I just said all that. It's probably because my youngest son knows 5% of a 100 songs. And dad knows 100% those 100.
To all those people who go through the trouble to post a song picked to standard 440, thank you.
To show my appreciation, I'll learn the entire song, or at least fake it good enough people can't tell.

Tuned to standard, skipped to 4:02, slowed down to half speed, lived here for 3 years and still can't figure out what the hell he's playing.

Thanks from me, too! I prefer the standard tuning, and most of my basses are tuned to standard, the Fender Duff Signature too 😄... with these tracks of GNR in standard I can play them without changing pitch. Not a long work at all, a couple of minutes, but the feeling of the strings tuned down I do not like! Obviously the songs are better in their original tuning if you listen to them, but for playing along this versions are really useful! At least for those like me who prefer their instruments tuned in standard 😆! On Appetite For Destruction there are plenty of good bass parts, maybe not technical, but Duff has really a good taste and a good sound! Greetings from Italy!
