This is something I did today on the range and it worked wonders. I had a tendency to start from a static position and moved into my backswing very slowly. I had trouble knowing when to stop and then tended to lunge at the ball. Sometimes I lunged correctly, but not very often. The slow backswing also caused me to reverse pivot as well. Know, with the little bump forward, it has tightened up my backswing and I can feel some resistance at the top before I start down. My weight shift is now much improved and I don't fall back any longer. It almost feels like I'm being too quick, but the results are so good that I'll keep doing it.
