The perfect run would be flawless. There are many occasions where he had to stop and wait for things (Ex: The dive at the beginning, the boxing glove waiting to go down, the swing to send him flying from the low gravity section, the second time he used the swing for him to get to the pinball section, and waiting for himself to get flung by the pinball flicker). If it was perfect, everything would’ve been perfectly timed and would’ve been constantly moving, and not waiting for obstacles.
