I’m so glad he healed ok,
Don’t beat yourself up you seem like a father that doesn’t coddle his kids and although there may be a few scrapes or axe wounds.. Colin will grow because of the not shying away from things and not quitting because he is just a touch tired(this time being a mistake). That attitude and the knowledge of all the things even the accidents that he will/has overcome will be a huge source of confidence.
