I spent a good 8 months logging off of tail of the dragon. Myself being a timber faller, I didn't see much action, but my log truck driver buddies certainly did. Man we cut some big timber out there.
Be careful, that road is still public & shit like log trucks DO run it.

Go find one of the locals and have them lead you through. You’ll see the faster and safer lines. Stop by one of the photographers and ask who they would suggest and they’ll point the ya. It’s usually a guy on a 600, super moto, or Ducati scrambler(😎) whose tires have the profile of a triangle.

By local standards, that was fairly slow and sketchy. Not busting balls just being truthful.
