Gov. DeSantis, Crist discuss COVID-19 reponse in Florida during debate

Defiant as ever, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis fiercely defended his response to the COVID-19 pandemic and his focus on divisive cultural issues in his first and only reelection debate Monday, as Democrat Charlie Crist accused his Republican rival of being distracted by his national political ambitions.

Suggesting DeSantis was already focused on running for president, Crist pressed DeSantis on whether he would commit to serving out his second full four-year term. DeSantis didn't directly answer the question.

“The only worn-out old donkey I'm looking to put out to pasture is Charlie Crist,” DeSantis said of his 66-year-old opponent.

The editing on these videos shows a clear bias... When the old guy finishes, the audio volume is adjusted louder during cheering. When Desantis finishes, the audio of the cheering is drastically cut. They aren't even trying to hide their deceptive manipulation.

The audio is dropping because the cheers are so loud the automatic gain control kicks in and lowers Ron's mic. It's set up that way so the gain can stay at a constant set point to eliminate plosives or unpleasant pops and gain spikes. If they move close to the mic it decreases gain automatically if they move away or speak lower the gain will increase to keep a pleasant constant volume. Ron's cheer was just really really loud lol

DeSantis has taken off the gloves. Clearly he is an ageist. Therefore, let's discuss his weight. He has to be at least 40 pounds overweight.
