ZRace BR-005 Cable Actuated Hydraulic Brakes - initial review.

Hey, here beacuse i may buy these brakes, glad to hear theyre holding up.

I went through the same confusion with the adapters yesterday. The arrows indicate what end of the adapter the caliper goes on for the corresponding size, NOT how the adapter connects to the bike.

Great video. What brakes come stock? Is the posiedon frame post mount and using the flat mount hardware worked?

Compared to mine and photos, the black arm that connects to the brake wire seems to be backwards on yours. It should be angled away from the cable housing instead of towards it. I know it's how you received them, but I think whoever put them together from the factory did it wrong.

I think people that complain so much about the Poseidon brakes don't know how to set them up correctly. I did do the swap to compressionless housings but my brakes will lock the wheels in an emergency stop and I weigh 275 lbs. Make sure you seat the brakes and adjust them.

I'm having trouble with the clearance for my rear caliper, those hydro/mechanic caliper are usually much bigger than the regular ones! Do you know the height of both ends of the rear caliper once hooked up with the cable?

Are you running compressionless housing? Curious if they perform well with regular housing.

Did you purchased 2 hydraulic brakes or per 50 bucks you got 2?

Brakes were fine, but now the front calliper leaks like a B !! no way to repair by the look of it :(

My ZRace Br-005 are leaking, pretty anoying and I don ´t know how to fix them.
