Rhett always sounded better on these kind of tracks than he did on the AOR stuff he tried although he also had a great voice for Paul Rodgers-type stuff. This sounds kind of like if Blackie Lawless had some blues in him and had actually learned how to sing. Great overdriven vocal tone without losing actual tonality. This version so much better than the version on Gone With The Wind.

There is a 3rd version with an annoying, jangly keyboard fill in the pre-chorus that streams on spotify. This is the best version while the original is certanly listenable.

There is another version of this one also.. Sounds a bit different. With heavier drumming.
