Could you speak more on the specific benefits of incorporating a forefoot shank versus a midfoot shank? In my understanding, a rigid or supportive midfoot shank has generally been seen as ideal for promoting arch stability and reducing the risk of common overuse injuries, such as plantar fasciitis or midfoot strain—especially during high-impact activities.

However, I’m curious to know what advantages a forefoot shank might provide, particularly in the context of athletic performance. Could it offer enhanced propulsion, toe-off stability, or metatarsal protection? I’d love to hear your insights from both a design and performance perspective.

Curious on thoughts of Luka .77. I already have a pair. Haven’t worn them out yet. I did put an orthotic and I’m a bit worried they’ll be too tight, but I’m going to wear them and see if they break in. Love Luka and the price of the shoe. I like to shoot around on outdoor courts too, Curious to see how they work out.
