The title, “Objects in Mirror”, is a reference to a warning label that are almost always stuck on the rear view windows of a car. The full phrase is “objects in mirror are closer than they appear”. This is representative of how the contestants are not completely erased, but are actually still alive inside of mephone, making them closer to him than what it appears to be.

I’m finally all caught up with the series. Here for whatever comes this Summer. I didn’t think my first ever Object Show would be so impactful, even knowing its darker tones ahead of time. Not sure what the future of this series hold, but thank you. I may have been so late to the party, but that’s how the cookie crumbles. Whether we continue a game show or slice of life, I won’t forget this experience.

this ending is genuinely so beautiful. i’ve rewatched ii countless times and introduced my friends to it (we’re on s3, they don’t know what they’re in for yet) and each time the finale song hits deeper. even though i joined the osc only a couple months ago, it genuinely feels like i’ve been here forever. the last song makes me feel a sense of nostalgia like no other.

ii has been absolutely incredible - with lovable characters, humor, and an emotional storyline. it introduced me to the osc, and for that i thank the team behind it. i’ll always have a special place in my heart for ii, and i am endlessly excited for s4 !! <3
