For Android API version 31 or above, "flags" of the has to be set to Otherwise it will not work. Cheers.

Not a helpful tutorial. A lot of things are not explained properly, and source code isn't even available for reference, unlike most other tutorials.

okay, so how do you dismiss keyguard and wake up device if its asleep? if you ARE doing an alarm the phone might be asleep.
