Bern by Drone - 4K Drone Footage - Switzerland
Welcome to this aerial tour by drone! This 4k video was recorded in Bern, Switzerland.
I truly enjoyed travelling to Bern, so decided to show the beauty of Bern on my channel. I hope you will also enjoy this drone footage.
In this drone video, you will see a lot of major tourist attractions and sightseeing of Bern from above.
About Bern:
Bern is a capital of Switzerland. This is a relatively small city that is full of wonderful and unforgettable places. Originally the name of the city came from the word “bear” and in past times there has been a tradition to keep at least one bear in Bern.
When starting our talk about this city, we simply must mention that the most famous and one of most visited sights of Bern is Bärengraben or “A Pit of Bears”. Here you can see real bear, either big or small ones. Among other sights are the local Botanical garden, many museums, large number of historical sights and, finally, a magnificent Einstein’s house.
The city has a fantastic, moderate climate that is loyal to all visitors. This is another reason of popularity of Bern among travellers from all over the world. The city is small, but it really has everything to make tourists happy and leave only the best and most positive memories. Clocks on the Zytglogge tower are, probably, the most famous sight that indeed has many fans. These clocks are not only the historical sight and pride of the city, but also a historical and cultural value. They feature refined beauty and grace of work of a great master.
Bern is a very comfortable place with well-developed infrastructure. This is another reason to visit this magnificent city that traditionally catches attention of thousands of tourists from different parts of our planet.
Well-preserved historic district of Bern is considered today as a single landmark; it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Each of the monuments presented here is unique. In the historical part is the The Cathedral of Bern or Bern Minster, construction of which began in 1421 and lasted until the late 19th century. Its height of the tower is about 100 meters; the cathedral represents a surprising mixture of different architectural styles. The facade around the main entrance is decorated with ancient bas-reliefs, there are more than 200.
One of the most beautiful and interesting city promenades considered is the Kramgasse street. This is the largest street in the city, where there are numerous baroque buildings and monuments in the Gothic style. It is here in the house number 49 once lived Albert Einstein. Historic street is decorated with an abundance of fountains, and yet it has an interesting secret. Walking next to the fountains, you can see next to them latticed partitions on the ground. If you look closely, beneath there is a flowing stream; for hundreds of years it was the main source of fresh water for the residents.
Bern is one of the best tourist destination with developed tourism infrastructure and tourism industry in general. The tourism sector is of great importance to Bern.
