** So this song was a request (as you can see in the intro). I listened to the song to get a feel for it and I realized that I knew the song, hearing it in public and such, but I never knew who did it or what the name was. It's a really cool song with a fairly intricate bass part. It took me a while to tab it all out by ear, but I think I got it as accurate as my ears could tell. If you wanted to make it simpler, you could just copy the first chorus and verse parts to the rest of the song (like if you're playing it for a show), but you'd be missing out on all the fun small parts
Thanks for watching! Enjoy :)

Your playing a little tight. Relax, Breathe, Play Loose

Great changes in rhythm. Big like! 👍 The song was originally recorded by Erma Franklin in 1967. Janis Joplin covered it in 1968 and had a much bigger hit.

Nice reference point. This song is wide open for improv and interpretation on bass. I recommend listening to this track and other people's improv's then working out your own thing on the bass-removed track that's available on YouTube. Otherwise, you'll drive yourself crazy and sell yourself short trying to learn the original version note for note. Put it this way, do you think that Sharay Reed would just copy the original version?

Is there another source for the transcription? The link is a continuous loop of nonsense with Ultimate Guitar, which never shows the chart. Thanks!
