@3:05 thank you for mentioning this, because I had no idea how that worked and that probably explains why I was getting crap from the merchants. Your max power level is what matters before purchasing. I’ve been making this mistake for a week now. Now I can adjust accordingly, and hopefully make something work! Thanks

On pumpkin pastures you can find 2 obsidian chests with insane luck too! They are both found in the same way (a second cave inside a cave inwitch you probably have to solve a puzzle). I had 14 secrets to find on this map, just to let you know. Great video!

I just use the Battle Robes with 3 Cooldown enchanments a Death Cap Mushroom, Ghost Cloak and swiftness boots. Then just sprint to the boss or obsidian chest or whatever.

From my experience with Fiery Forge it's better to just rush and kill the boss, high chance for unique gear. I can complete the level in under 2 minutes so it's pretty quick as well.

I ran one run of pumpkin pastures earlier and from that one crypt alone I found 4 gold chests and one obsidian

Let it be knows that if the 2nd chest isnt on the island on Cacti Canyon, it will be right after the area. Activate all beacons the cross the bridge. Directly after crossing the bridge turn right and run to the end of the path, the gold chest will spawn there if it wasn’t in the other spot.

I found an Obsidian chest in pumpkin pastures crypt. You fight an ABSOLUTE ONSLAUGHT of mobs, including enchanters, skeletons, and high powered illagers. After you defeat them, there is a redstone switch that opens a secret room

Creepy crypt is just one of the best places to farm in the game, less effort bc no need to constantly return to camp and sometimes up to 16 chests and 7 secrets and even sometimes two obsidian chests if not more just with that one level. I’d recommend just doing that lvl for grinding

This is a amazing guide! there are some other obsidian chests that require a bit more luck, like in the desert temple if you get lucky you have the chance to get a obsidian chest and a gold chest next to each other, what you have to do is go into the ruin part where you activate the beacons, then when you enter it take on your right there should be a platform, go onto the stairs and before you get off of the stairs, dodge roll it might take a couple of tries to get there but that spawns a guaranteed gold chest. The obsidian chest is a bit harder to get because it all depends on camera angle, when your at the gold chest to your right there should be a long platform go to it until you see somewhere that drops you down a bit walk to the "stairs" looking part then take a left when you see something like a door.

Here's a tip to get more power after you beat the Arch-illiger on regular mod, do the easiest mod like creeper woods on adventure mod like to get more power.when you go back to the regular default and you can press lb to hard or if your playing on computers just click

Wait, you didn't suggest desert temple? You get an obsidian chest (check if there's 4+ secrets at the start, if not, bonus room will spawn in the wrong orientation), a gold chest next to it, a loot pig and mini boss right outside, all in less than a minute with a cool down build. And here's always the method of going through crypt and only going for the worthwhile chests, just looking out for specific map shapes but that requires more attention to knowing the layouts and secrets, and avoiding many more mobs (usually good to kill large groups as you will likely get drops from them too)

Speed builds are nice, but has anyone tried a full tank build and gotten a triple protection roll? or double protection with a filler like deflect or something? I’ve always wanted to try it because being squishy isn’t fun especially when you’re gear can’t kill fast

Me and my brother once did pumpkin pastures were we did a dungeon and there was a door with one of those things that light up you fight and get a gold chest but there was a room after with a diamond chest and gold but also a secret button that opened another gold chest.
