I'm serious; I've been watching the hockey guy for about 6 months now and RLM for 4 years, and I came across this channel for the first time today through this video. After thinking the thumbnail had to be fucked by Youtube and that this could no way be the same guy, I was proven wrong and safe to say my mind was blown.

That article almost feels like libel. At first I thought it was just elaborate trolling from Shatner's party to get a reaction, but I don't know anymore. Bill or his account manager or whoever running all of this is treating this really poorly. I don't see how a rational human being can be sent so much information and responses, one of which being a video from the people he's accusing of sending harassment towards him, and still choose to be blissfully ignorant on the whole situation. He flat out says he won't watch their response, and continues to use it as a crux in the argument to demonize RedLetterMedia by using it to say it insights further harassment, uses their figures to shame their income, and to take obvious sarcastic jokes as concrete fact. Maybe it is just 11/10 trolling and we're all victims to the joke, or maybe the person writing it is seriously disillusioned and alienated to the internet and probably shouldn't be using it so belligerently. But at this point I really hope it is some hired jerkoff kid writing all of William's stuff for him, because I can't believe he'd be so ignorant.

As the old saying goes, "Never meet your heroes"....words to live by, I guess. The Shat is starting to lose it. It really pains me to say because I'm a huge fan. He feuds with everyone, including his old Trek castmates like Takei, Doohan (RIP), Nimoy (RIP), Koenig.

I read through Shatner's Medium post. First off, there's no way he could've written and formatted all that by himself. Second, he didn't even watch their video about the situation! He just speculated that they told their fans to harass him. It was like listening to an old man yell at a cloud. He's a curmudgeon. If you watch RLM, they obviously hold Star Trek in high regard as a series, and they obviously don't want people coming to harass William Shatner. It was wrong of him to hold RLM personally responsible because he feels harassed; that's be like holding him personally responsible for all the dumb shit Trekkies have done in the name of Star Trek fandom. By the way, the irony in William Shatner watching The Nerd Crew and believing the satire is just so poetic.

6:06 you can change William Shatners mind, and he makes it clear on his Twitter feed, call his agent and pay for his time. His "grumpiness" is towards people who want him to donate his time for free for whatever cause. Again, he's said it many times that he would love to help people out, but if he helps one person, then everyone will ask, and he'll eventually have to say no. So if you genuinely want his time, go through his agent and make a deal which will involve a payment in cold hard cash.The other issue is that his time is valuable, so when people ask him to appear on a podcast, they will benefit ultimately financially, but WS himself won't. People come at him as if he owes them for some reason.

I've had a love hate relationship with Shatner. I've read his books, fiction and non. I've watched his other projects. He loves horses, I grew up around horses.

I love the man's work. I love that he's a ham, that manages to pull it off. He is one of our oldest TV actors. He is mostly clear headed, and active for his age.

The man has an ego. He is as stuffy as people would assume Patrick Stewart to be (Before Family Guy). He is often an ass to his fans, I think to set boundaries. He's a bit too gruff. But, it works for him.

So, I've learned to admire him from afar. That works for me.

Mike's Star Trek knowledge is pretty intense. I like how he can draw a Star Trek parellel from any movie they talk about. "So Mike, how did this movie remind you of Star Trek?"

No matter what RLM video puts out, if Mike is in it, he makes SOME kind of Star Trek reference. Every time. Also, their Re:View videos aren't meant to be snarky and mean. Someone tried to get Shatner to watch the RLM Re:View of Star Trek: The Motion Picture because Mike PRAISED Shatner's performance in it. Shatner just couldn't get through the first 60 seconds because he's trying to get everyone off his command deck.
