Easy Tree Farm Tutorial | Simply Minecraft (Java Edition 1.18)

If you'd like an easy and simple to build tree farm for Minecraft 1.18 I have just the thing for you! In this tutorial I'll show you how to build a simple tree farm for oak or birch trees with optional addons to make your life easier. You can add a TNT duper (duplicator) or a dispenser with TNT to automatically break the logs and collect them. If you prefer, the logs can form a large cube for chopping later. Additionally, you can add a sapling dropper system to give you a new sapling whenever a tree is grown, that was you can AFK at this tree farm for long periods.

for anyone having issues with the comparator not firing, you have to fill the dispenser with bone meal for it to work. if its empty it cant transmit a signal through the block because the comparator power output will be 0 if the container its reading from is empty

I've used hour and hours trying to follow other tree farms designs (e.g ilmago) and they never seemed to work even after doing it over and over again. The new tnt duper is one of my new favorite inventions. It is so nice to use it to make a cobblestone generator or tree farm early game without needing to dig out a slime chunk or find a warm ocean for coral fans.

This is the best farm period. I've tried so many other ones that worked for some time and eventually break themselves or you're wasting more bone meal. The dropper for saplings is such a great idea. This farm is easy to build and you don't need to look around for some resources most things should already be in your chests :3 I just love this farm it's so efficient and for 1.19 peeps use mud instead of dirt it really boosts the farm and you need less bone meal

one flaw I noticed was that if the cube pistons reach their max length and you keep growing trees, the first pistons will push the logs further and it will break ur redstone setup for the cube pusher... Fix would be to extend the cube pusher out so that where the redstone torch is, is at the push limit of the pistons.
