We played this in middle school, and it is honestly the coolest-fucking song I played in all 7 years of band. It was like playing a damn Hollywood adventure movie. We actually begged our high school band director to let us try to adapt it to do a marching field performance of it, and he wouldn't let us.

My band is playing this, and my, this piece sounds beautiful. I love the low brass parts especially, but that could also be the fact that Im in the low brass :P. I play electric bass, but I basically double the tubas, just an octave higher.

Played this for my junior year of high school i'm first chair for the baritones/euphoniums and I played this solo :) it was so much fun
