Ranked-choice open primaries. The benefits of a caucus but the privacy of a primary.

Taniel on Twitter has the most up to date corrections on the Iowa Caucus. As of now, Bernie has the lead in SDEs

Go next door and give it to Minnesota. Consistently high voter turnout, both rural and urban areas, with diverse population demographics.

Michigan is the ideal first in the nation state for multiple reasons. We have open primaries for one. There is no party affiliation required to vote, you choose your party affiliation during primaries at the ballot box. elections are run by our county clerks and secretary of state which means political party influence will be very low. Our elections also use paper ballot scantron which means they are auditable and verifiable. There are no ridiculous voting registration requirements like "must be a democrat 6 months before the election.

And that's just the technical reasons. We are also demographically diverse with the nations largest Arabic population in Dearborn. Detroit is a huge urban center and manufacturing center. We also have rural areas that are representative of that population.

Michigan is the ideal first in the nation primary.

What stops all states voting on the same day and be done with it? The drawn out primary makes no sense.

Only right way to do this is no primaries no big show no nothing. Everything publicly funded, everybody gets the week off of work to listen to what the candidates have to say, and then we vote at the end of the week. One vote one person that's it the end. Oh yeah and paper only!!

All states should have a primary on the same day.

I have another crazy idea.
Start electoral campaign in August, primaries in October.
Then campaign for another month and have general elections in November.
On Sunday, !!

We should focus more and keep talking about Perez resigning. Concentrating on moving states will be his out.
