To κουιντέτο δημιουργεί μια μοναδική γέφυρα ανάμεσα σε τρεις μεγάλες εποχές συνδέοντας το ελληνικό ηχόχρωμα, τον παραδοσιακό, μεσογειακό και ρεμπέτικο ήχο με αναφορές στην αρχαιοελληνική γραφή μέσα από τα φωνητικά θραύσματα της Νατάσσας Μάρε που παραπέμπουν στην αρχαία ελληνική τραγωδία διαμέσω πάντοτε της σύγχρονης αυτοσχεδιαστικής τέχνης και μουσικής.

Τα θέματα εμβαπτίζονται στο σύγχρονο ηχοχρωματικό τοπίο μέσω της τζαζ, του ελεύθερου αυτοσχεδιασμού και των διαπολιτιστικών επιρροών και ηχοχρωμάτων των διεθνών μουσικών.

The quintet creates a unique bridge between three great eras! It combines the radiating Greek sound, the Traditional music, also the Mediterranean sound colors, and the era of Rebetiko, reaching the contemporary musical fields of modern life using references to the ancient Greek way of writing and Greek Tragedy through the vocalistic fragments and free, avant-garde improvisation of Natassa Mare.

The themes are immersed into the landscapes of modern life, speed, and frequencies through the use of jazz elements, free improvisation, and the intercultural influences and sounds of the five exceptional, international musicians.

A co-production of the Thessaloniki Concert Hall and the Goethe-Institut Thessaloniki.
