Hello mark, i've had this bike for a few months now, and i love it. As you say, for the price it has amazing features. When i assembled it, the first thing i did was remove the throttle, rather than have it confiscated by a pull over. I'm in my mid seventies, and i really don't find it at all dificult to ride without the throttle, besides which i bought it for a bit of a work out anyway, and the free wheeling down hills is amazing with virtually no drag resistance from the hubs. Goes up some very steep bristol hills with ease. The battery life is great, with high quality 71200 battery cells, although, even charging from a 10% loss, short ride, does take 2 to 3 hrs. A very minor moan, really. It also features a brake light which i think is awesome. It all adds up to rider safety in the end, doesn't it? Just out of interest out all of the folding ebikes you've tested so far, which one do you think would be the best for day to day stuff. such as doing a bit of shopping, short range ( No bus or train needed ) commuting. going to the beach / forest for a picnic ? That sort of thing,

I use the F20 for over a year. The Bike works well without any issues. I changed the Chainring to 58 tooth and I changed the seatpost to a supension suntour sp12. . The throttle is easy to disconnect, for legal use in europe. The tires are a bit noisy on the street, both off road they are nice. It is a speed sensor bike, so you realy have not to put always power on the pedal like with the expensive tourgh sensor bikes. I like the comfortable entry and the long wheelbase. It is not a performer on steeper hills, but this is a problem of most wheel-hub e-bikes. I pedal relaxed on stage 2 of the speed ( 18 Km/h ) and a max. 70 Km / 43 miles) of range. Going on full speed realy takes the accu down fast. I run a tires pressure of 1, 2 bar in front, and 1, 5 bar at the rear. Over all, the Fafrees F20 is a great bike for the money. I paid €uro 840.-

I have one. I also have mobility issues when I’m off the bike. I need a walking stick. I’m concerned about the throttle. I’m told the bike is completely legal in Britain but there’s a throttle that i’m told as illegal so I’m a bit confused 🤷‍♂️

Hi great review as always; one point about the brakes, they are mechanical disc as you said at the beginning, the spec sheet says the same, but at the end final summary you said “hydraulic “ brakes….maybe a dub over needed? Thank you for these reviews. I bought a Honda Transalp on line because of your review. I liked your electric motorcycle reviews too, just can’t have the faff with updates to this & that or in Zero’s case I read about very poor aftersales, lack of critical parts, & poor resale value.

Not sure I fancy the cost and hassle of a GS. Not the price of a Multistrada but I love the look.

I like the test ride of tiger 900. Though a few people tel me old one is vibey.
